WHAT ARE THE TYPES AND DURATION OF WEAPON LICENSES?
The types of gun licenses are regulated in two separate laws No. 6136 and No. 2125. Within the scope of the aforementioned laws, the types and duration of gun licenses are as follows:
Licenses within the scope of Law No. 6136;
Possession License, (valid for 5 years)
Transport License, (valid for 5 years)
License to Carry a Public Official, (Valid as long as the public duty continues)
Retired Public Servant Transport License, (There is no time limit)
Rifled Shotgun License, (valid for 5 years)
Licenses within the scope of Law No. 2521;
Smoothbore Rifle License (valid for 5 years)
Salesmanship (Av Dealership) Certificate (Valid for 1-3 years)
