EXPLANATIONS
1- My client was born on … However, due to an error by the civil registry officials, the date of birth is recorded as … on the identity card.
2- My client was born at home, and approximately 8 days after the date in question, my client’s cousin, …, was born. Regarding the situation in question, …’s father, …, and mother, …, will testify before Your Honorable Court.
3- As we know, a person who wants to reduce their age should not have a sibling of the age they wish to reduce to. My client has a younger sibling born on …, and the age difference between my client and this sibling exceeds the period specified in the relevant law.
4- My client’s age was incorrectly recorded in the population registry due to an error by the registry officials, and for this reason, he is experiencing problems in legal proceedings. There is also the possibility that irreparable damage may occur in the future. Furthermore, like every citizen of the Republic of Turkey, he has the right to request that his actual date of birth be recorded in his identity card.
